A quiet collaborator with some of Toronto’s most talented musicians, Chuck Erlichman is now ready to step into the spotlight with his latest album, Only Friend Now. On his latest record, singer/songwriter Chuck Erlichman (Golden Country Classics / Doug Paisley/Live Country Music) delivers a high intensity recording with jangly guitar and a lyrical frankness that can be both poetic and disarmingly simple. Chuck is joined on the album by collaborators Matthew Barber on drums and Matt Cowley on bass while a number of Toronto’s top guitarists (Doug Paisley, Don Rooke and Afie Jurvanen (Bahamas)) guest on select tracks. Only Friend Now was recorded in Toronto at The Woodshed with engineer Stew Crookes (Fiver/Jason Collett/Hawksley Workman). Cover art by Heather Goodchild.
